NO. 55 DAYTONA PROTOTYPE TAKES TWO

Overland Park, Kan. (January 24, 2009) 1995 Rolex 24 Hours At Daytona Champion, Christophe Bouchut knows how to race. Driving in the #3 spot on Lap 177, Bouchut made his way to the #2 position, knocking Scott Dixon of Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates out of his place. Just 8.294 seconds behind Daytona Prototype class leader, Buddy Rice, Bouchut turned in a fastest lap time of 1:42.184.

By Lap 195, Scott Tucker had returned to the No. 55 Supercar Life Level 5 Motorsports BMW Riley once again. Driving into the seventh hour of the Rolex 24, the No. 55 Daytona Prototype currently sits in the #7 position. Rounding out the Top Five in the Daytona Prototype class are drivers Scott Dixon (1:43.289), Antonio Garcia (1:44.330), Timo Bernhard (1:44.405), Joao Barbosa (1:44.736) and Matteo Bobbi (1:44.085).

With 17 hours to go, this car and this team are ready to burn the midnight oil as the hours drive by.
