Supercar Life takes its successful brand overseas this weekend, as it sponsors JMB Stradale Racing's No. 99 Ferrari GT2 this Saturday, June 13, in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at Circuit de la Sarthe.
Stateside, driver Christophe Bouchut mans the No. 55 Supercar Life BMW-Riley Daytona Prototype in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series; this weekend in France, he joins JMB Stradale Racing teammates Manuel Rodrigues and Yvan Lebon in the 77th anniversary running of Le Mans' 24-hour endurance race. Bouchut brings the advantage of experience to his team; the native Frenchman has won three high-profile 24-hour races:Le Mans in 1993, Daytona in 1995 and Spa in 2002.
"To win these types of races as a driver, it means the world," Bouchut said. "This has definitely been a busy season; I've been running in a variety of series, but I wouldn't change a thing. I look forward to driving with Manuel and Yvan this weekend in hopes to winning another championship. I'd also like to thank Supercar Life for coming on board. They offer a world-class experience and believe in world-class drivers-for them to back that up by sponsoring my team in this event, I am very grateful."
Supercar Life CEO Brian Weaver says being on board for the 2009 Le Mans was a natural partnership. "We sponsored Bouchut's No. 99 Ferrari because of our brand's identity," Weaver said. "Supercar Life is the only event of its kind that allows fans and enthusiasts from all over the world to drive a collection of the world's most elite supercars-the types of cars they see in the Le Mans, Grand-Am and Ferrari Challenge Series races. To partner with one of our very own drivers in a race of this caliber, all the way across the Atlantic Ocean...It's historic."
Taking place between the Turkish and British grands prix, the Le Mans 24 Hours will command center stage at Circuit de la Sarthe, one of the world's most iconic circuits. Spectators from around the world will watch the event on more than 100 TV networks.
Motors TV will beam all the action into 16 million homes across 32 European countries, with more than 48 hours of live television coverage in four languages.
