Renteria Delivers Championships for Level 5 Motorsports

Level 5 Motorsports' youth sponsorship program is already beginning show results with two new championships added to the list of Level 5 success stories.

Hollister, California's Dustin Renteria gave the program its first two championships last weekend as the eight-year-old won titles in the 65cc 5-8 class and the 65cc X-class in the California Motorcycle Association's Spring Series in Madera.

Renteria clinched first place the 65cc 5-8 class with a victory in the Sprint Series finale Friday night. He finished second in the 65cc X-class race to clinch the championship in that division.

Renteria also finished third in the 50cc 7-8 class with a second-place run Friday night.

"I am always so proud of Dustin and what he is able to do at such a young age," said Renteria's father, Dusty. "I do the best I can to give him the most competitive, reliable motorcycles on which to race, and then let him do the rest. It has been very rewarding watching him learn and develop on the 65cc motorcycle.

"For us to be able to represent and be a part of Level 5 Motorsports and win races and championships for the team just makes it that much more fun."

Dustin Renteria won five of the seven races in the 65cc 5-8 class in the CMA Spring Series. Consistent second- and third-place finishes enabled him to win the 65cc X-class. He never finished worse than third in the 50cc class, in which some races fielded up to 15 bikes.

The margin in the 50cc class standings among the top five riders was less than 10 points.

"It was hard to win a championship, but I'm glad that I did and it was a lot of fun," Dustin said. "Thanks to Scott Tucker and Level 5 Motorsports for their support."
