TUCKER TAKES P1 FOR SATURDAY'S FERRARI CHALLENGE SERIES SEASON OPENER

Overland Park, Kan. (March 21, 2009) - If today's qualifying session for this afternoon's Ferrari Challenge season opener at Miami-Homestead Speedway is a sign of things to come, then perhaps driver of the No. 55 F430, Scott Tucker is a force to be reckoned with.

Taking his seat behind the wheel of the No. 55, Tucker turned in an impressive time of 01:27.951, taking the #1 spot in Race 1 of the Ferrari Challenge Series race weekend.

"We couldn't have asked for a better time today. With the first race just hours away, I am certain that we will finish strong. Overall, there was some impressive driving out there that will make for great competition today," said Scott Tucker.

It was Mark McKenzie (01:28.498) that took the #2 position knocking Richard Fant (01:28.695) out of his spot, pushing him back to the #3 position on the starting grid.

Rounding out the fourth and fifth positions for today's race were drivers Zak Brown and Mike Zoi turning in times of 01:28.985 and 01:28.994.

2008 Ferrari Challenge Series Champion, Roberto Fata qualified with a time of 01:29.874, taking the #9 position behind Steve Hill in the No. 33 car. In missing a Driver's Briefing, John Devaney of the No. 70 car was penalized 10 minutes in his qualifying time pushing him back to the #20 spot.

"Today's session went well," said Team Manager, David Stone. "With each race this weekend we will continue to refine our strategy in each lap we turn. The No. 55 has been well prepared and we look forward to seeing the results from that."

With just 2 hours to go, Race 1 of the 2009 Ferrari Challenge Series will begin at 2:00 p.m. EST. Qualifying for Race 2 will follow on Sunday, March 22 at 11:15 a.m. EST with the race at 2:00 p.m. EST.
